Tradition is   essential

It all began in 1960, when José Taramelli, a small land owner, son of Italian immigrants cultivated his first plants of coffee in the hillsides of São Sebastião da Grama.

Blessed by the rich soil, abundant mountain water, warm sun and the natural benefits of the high mountain ranges, José Taramelli succeeded to come up with a world-class arabica coffee bean.

For more than 40 years, he has worked hard with attention to detail in the cultivation of coffee, the current generation of the Family of José Taramelli follows the traditional practices that the patriarch introduced. A process that combines meticulous cultivation with the most advanced technology of today.

Currently, the farm belongs to Mariângela Taramelli, daughter of José.
